Privacy Policy
Quiet, Please is a single-player library game that doesn't collect, store or share personal information. Your progress and settings are saved only on your device. If you're signed in to Game Center, your achievements and scores go to Apple's Game Center. When you open the game it checks GitHub Pages for new game files; that request contains no personal information. No accounts, ads, analytics or in-app purchases.
Who we are
Quiet, Please is made and published by Just A Little Project Studio LLC, a small independent studio in New York, USA (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information Quiet, Please uses, where it goes and the choices you have.
What the game stores
Your progress (the current day, coins, upgrades, records and achievements) and your settings (sound, music and graphics) are saved only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
What the game does not do
- No accounts, sign-in or personal details.
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics, crash reporting or third-party tracking tools.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
- No in-app purchases.
Apple Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you're signed in to Game Center on your device, your achievements and scores are sent to Apple's Game Center so they can appear on leaderboards and in the Games app. Your Game Center nickname (and, if you have one, your Game Center picture) can be shown in the game and to other players on leaderboards. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we don't receive your Apple Account details, and we only see leaderboard entries the same way any player does.
You can sign out of Game Center, or change who can see your activity, in Settings › Game Center. The game works without it.
Game updates
When you open the game, it checks GitHub Pages for a newer version of the game files and downloads it if one exists. This request contains no personal information, and the update tool built into the app doesn't send usage statistics. Like any website, GitHub may record standard technical details such as your IP address in its server logs, under GitHub's privacy statement. We don't receive or use that information.
If you have turned on Share With App Developers in your iPhone's Analytics & Improvements settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. Apple strips them of anything that identifies you, and you can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Controllers and keyboards
If you pair a game controller or keyboard, the game reads its buttons on your device to let you play. Nothing is recorded or sent.
Children
Quiet, Please is suitable for all ages. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Game Center and purchases for children are managed by the parent through Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time settings, where purchases and Game Center features can be limited or turned off.
Keeping and deleting your information
We hold no information about you, so there's nothing for us to delete. Your progress stays on your device until you delete the app; Game Center data is managed by Apple in Settings › Game Center.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already have, we'll say so clearly here (and in the app where that makes sense) before it takes effect.
